Invisalign for teens and adults
For crowding, spacing and many bite problems. Worn most of the day and changed on a set schedule.
Treatments · Invisalign & clear aligners
Clear, removable aligners for teens, adults and children, planned and supervised by Dr Amna Ali, specialist orthodontist and Invisalign Platinum Provider.

What it is
Clear aligner treatment uses a series of custom-made, clear plastic trays. Each set is worn for a period of time and moves the teeth a small step along a digital treatment plan. The aligners are removable, so you take them out to eat and to brush.
Because the aligners only do what the plan tells them to, the planning matters. Dr Amna plans every case herself from a 3D scan and shows you the planned tooth movements on screen before you start.
Types
Dr Amna explains which option fits your teeth and your daily life at your assessment.

For crowding, spacing and many bite problems. Worn most of the day and changed on a set schedule.

Aligners designed for growing children who still have some baby teeth, used only when they suit the child. More about Invisalign First.

For smaller corrections, such as mild crowding or teeth that have moved a little since earlier treatment, a shorter course may be enough.
When it is used
Not every case is best treated with aligners. If braces or another approach would serve you better, Dr Amna will tell you.
Steps
Every mouth is different. Whether this treatment suits you, how long it may take and the fee are confirmed only after an in-person assessment with Dr Amna.
Questions
No. Take the aligners out to eat and to drink anything other than plain water, then brush before putting them back in.
Neither is better for everyone. Both can treat many of the same problems. Some cases are more suited to braces, and some patients prefer aligners because they are removable and less visible. Dr Amna explains the options that genuinely fit your teeth after examining you.
Aligners only work while they are in your mouth. Align Technology, the maker of Invisalign, recommends wearing them for 20 to 22 hours a day and taking them out only to eat, drink anything other than water, and clean your teeth.
It depends on what needs to be corrected, the type of appliance and how consistently it is worn. Some courses of treatment take months, others take longer. Dr Amna gives you an estimated timeline at your assessment; it is an estimate, not a guarantee.
